"I wasn't living the life I wanted...I was living the life I thought I was "supposed to live."

In January 2016, I woke up to a life that wasn’t making me happy.
The irony is that I was surrounded by the successes of the very things I had spent years of my life working towards.
I had built a six-figure wellness practice that launched my career into my own online business. I had the freedom of being an entrepreneur and starting to become a thought leader in my industry.
But despite everything I had in my professional life, I felt like a version of myself was trapped inside and she was screaming at me to break free.

In my heart of hearts, I am an explorer.

Nothing makes me feel more alive than trying new things, experiencing new adventures, and being on a constant quest for change and making an impact.
My life was the exact opposite of that. I had been doing the same thing for years and living in the same location.
My life was routine but monotonous. I had lost my joy.
Since early in my life, I never wanted to be put into a “box.” But I found myself in my own trap. The same fears, insecurities, and doubts that I have had in my head for years remained with me, which were making me say no to the bigger, scarier, and more exciting dreams I had been burying for years.
I was comfortable on a path that now felt like it had been laid out for me. Too comfortable.
I questioned myself on a regular basis. I doubted what I was capable of, and I was still creating boundaries within my own mind which, I grew to learn, is the ultimate thing that can hold all of us back in life.
I could have stayed in the same location, doing the same work I had spent years studying for and $150,000 of student loans to thank.
But I knew that I wanted something more.

What I really wanted was much deeper.

I had to redefine what a successful life meant and realized that it wasn't so much about goals or ambitions. It’s about doing what makes you happy, thrive, and feel alive.
For me, that meant creating more freedom and more impact.
FREEDOM. I decided to sell everything I owned and become a “digital nomad,” so I didn’t have to choose where I live but instead, I could live anywhere and out of my suitcase.
IMPACT. I knew my purpose was bigger and that I was supposed to shift my energy to mentoring others who were seeking unconventional ways to work and live like I was. To show them what was possible, that they’re not alone, and that there is more out there for them.
I left everything I knew so I could rebuild my life.
Which brings me to you.

Start to create your life on your terms again, or maybe for the first time ever.

I want to help you break away from how life has boxed you in from the dreams or happiness you’ve been putting on hold.
Always remember that the moment you have in front of you right now is the most important moment.
Stop putting off what you want because there is “time."
Start living into your dreams rather than waiting for the right time to make them happen. Don’t wait until retirement to live the life you want.
Start living now.
With love and gratitude,
Dr. Jen
